![]() Should I use a bluetooth keyboard to play on TV? It feels strange using Steam Link, plus my Switch Pro Controller (the only controller I got) doesn't seem well mapped on it. I can use Steam Link app on TV through a Chromecast. My laptop is not that powerful, and my TV is not that large. Even some console ports are not as good as PC versions because of it. Not all PC games are suitable for a controller, though. Beside that, there's a wireless controller for some freedom. As I use a laptop constantly for my works, my eyes and spine suffer. Not sure if simply changing that setting would have made a difference from the get go.I feel more comfortable playing consoles on TV than playing PC games. Instead of set to "enabled" the default setting was "uncompressed". The only setting that changed on the steam link was it's audio. I reset the steam link to factory settings, and also reinstalled steam on my PC. Maybe factory reset? Would love any help on this one. UI sound is audible on the steam link's menu before starting steaming. HDMI is the device selected in the steam link's audio setting. No other device is plugged into the steam link so it shouldn't be trying to output audio to anything other than HDMI Tried plugging in/out a USB audio device to my computer before/during streaming. My TV isn't muted, and I can get sound properly out of my computer. "Steam Streaming Speakers" are selected on my computers audio device while streaming.Īudio Streaming is enabled in the steam link's advanced streaming settings. ![]() I know this is an old/common issue, but it's the first time I've run into it after having 3 years of the steam link working just fine.
